- AMiTCP for SLIP/PPP, AmiWin for X.

- 3.1 is the most recent available, for all Amiga's.

- Get a compiler on your harddisk?

- AmiTCP supports NFS.
-
- About serial port NFS, on Fred Fish disk #400 is a program called ParNet,
- which will mount a NET: on both (parallel) connected Amiga's. HDD: on my Amiga
- would be available on the other macine as NET:HDD/
-
- Can anybody tell me why ParNet was so terribly slow and if newer
- (faster) versions exist?

-
- I can't help you with that - my Amiga 1200 came with an IDE bus as a standard.
